KRK BEACHES
There are several beaches (mostly pebble) within the town of Krk, some of them are within walking distance of our Villa Magdalena. Panoramic images are available at www.tz-krk.hr/en/beaches with close-up functions.

WATERSPORTS
At Krk beaches there is rich offering of watersports - paddling boats, canoeing, water-ski, jet-ski etc.

Elsewhere on the island, excellent wind-surfing locations are at the beaches of Baska and Kornic. ​
BIKING & HIKING
​Interior of the island offers a lot of trails for mountain biking. There is an annual mountain-biking event Spring On Wheels held in May

For hikers - especially attractive are the well-maintained paths winding thru olive trees along the coastline.
GASTRONOMY
​There is a rich offering of restaurants in Krk, some of the nicely lined-up under the old city walls along the harbour promenade.

Krk is traditionally a fishing place and is today a base of a small fishing fleet. Every morning, fresh seafood can be found and bought from the daily catch in Krk harbour.
